This thread is more for accountability and tips than it is for motivation, but you may find some motivation here. How much do you have to lose?

I'm at 220 right now. Trying to get down to around 205. I'm 6'5". Hard to try and eat really healthy while in college. Just started going to whole foods today for my grocery shopping. Not sure if I should be getting on a specific diet or just try to eat cleanly.

ETA: Man y'all have some very impressive numbers. Congrats on your progressions.

You don't have far to go, but its when you have the least to lose its the toughest. I usually recommend a paleo diet, but the absolute most important thing is calorie counting and eating whole foods. Cut out as much processed stuff as you can. For starches (should you choose to keep them in your diet) should be brown rice, steel cut oats, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, and things like that. Combine healthy starches with healthy fats and lean meats for protein. Don't listen to the food pyramid; you don't need 300g of starches every day.. cut it down to 150g carbs or lower for easy fat loss. Exercise. Walk daily or as often as possible. Lift 3-4 times a week. Eat lots and lots of veggies. Drink s half gallon of water each day.

Those are my tips.
