Cut back....
I've only drank once this week and no plans to till Saturday. Started hitting gym harder though.... I thinking cutting it out for a month would do wonders but I like it

185/??/167ish
Scale is broken so haven't been able to weigh myself recently. I'm passing the mirror test so I think I'm ok.
Today was my first day of doing a true 16/8 IF. Ate dinner last night followed by 2 scoops of protein and water then didn't/couldn't eat until 1245 today. Set the wrong alarm so wasn't able to get a workout in this morning but ran a fast 1.5 miles before work. Only for maybe 30 minutes was I hungry. But the good thing about my job is that I have to be so focused on something else that I forget I'm hungry.
So far since Lunch I've had a 600 Cal lunch then a few (healthy) snacks in between totaling 320 Cals. I figured I burned about 200 Cals on the run this morning. So I have right around 1000 cals left to go. Holy shite. I think the eating everything within 8 hours will be harder than the not eating part.
Anyway I'll try it out for a few days and see if I notice a change.
Keep up the good work everyone!

I find it easiest to eat a really big meal to break my fast. Usually 1000-1200. Then I have a small meal or two before bed. I normally eat my calorie in only a four-6 hour window. On a side note, are you eating back the calories you burn from exercise?

After my lunch I felt like I was going to explode. It was chicken breast, Zoe's cole slaw, and side fruit. But I'm used to eating several small meals/day.

Yes. All factored in.

i find this works best for me. if I just eat a little bit on the first meal that breaks the fast, I'm still really really hungry. So I like to eat a big meal, then another smaller one towards the end of my 6 hours.

I don't. But that's a personal preference really.

Weighed in at 174 today.
shite. Saving most of those calories for the end was tough. But not sure if I could eat more for lunch without wanting to nap. I'll play around with it.
Anyway here was my breakdown:
Net Calories - 1600
Total Fat - 93g
Total Carbs - 105g
Protein - 166g
I haven't done any calculations or anything to figure what my macros should be. I'll need to do that tonight.
Let's see how day 2 of the IF goes tomorrow

all that walking and running around kept me from ballooning.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconbow.gif)

I would think the macros look good. I alway here to shoot for .8 calories of protein per pound and .4 of fat then feel in the remainder however you choose.

Small uptick from yesterday but I did drink a few yesterday afternoon although I only exceeded my calorie goal by 150. Putting on a little more mass as well from the heavy lifting I've been doing so that could cause some inflation I guess.
