My record speaks for itself as far as criticizing the offense, the coaches, the QB play, the playcalling, etc...

It is what it is. I sincerely hope that it will get better. I have to confess that my negative posting has effected other areas in my life and I find myself being negative about other stuff too. That has to STOP NOW.

I love the Tigers just like most of you. I want them to win every game and I want them to make us proud in all phases.

I'm making a commitment to get positive and root hard for the guys on the field no matter what this year. Sure I would love to see us throw for over 200 yards, etc.... but honestly we are good enough to win every game. Not win the way I or anyone else would prefer, but we can win.

I'm putting an end to my negativity starting now. Doesn't mean I'm accepting the status quo as what we should continue to be on offense, but just because I think it doesn't mean I will post it.

I'm going to root for Jefferson as hard as I can. In flashes, he shows he has the ability. I'm going to root and pray for him this week to achieve his potential and be the leader I think he is capable of. I know he is trying.

I hope others will join me in focusing on the positive as much as you can, as unrealistic as that may seem.

Breathe some fresh cool air, enjoy the #10 team in the nation. Enjoy watching perhaps the greatest player we may ever see play in tiger stadium (PP7). Enjoy the fact that we have the priviledge and blessing to watch our favorite team on national TV almost every single game.

Enjoy some tiger Football and put on a Smile. LIfe is too SHORT to let the small stuff get us down.

Now lets GEAUX KICK SOME VOLUNTEER TAIL!!!

Yeah, I posted this in another thread but many of us are taking a glass that is two thirds full, or a third empty and drowning in it. Running game, offensive line, special teams and defense are dramatically improved. I think as much grief as we give the staff for the passing game, they deserve a little credit for the improvement as well.

FTR, I do blame the playcalling more than Jefferson. Let the kid throw down the field

In a sea of whining you have stood out a little. You might as well look on the bright side and hope for the best because all of this negativity isn't healping anything at all. Nice to see someone else see the light.

Good attitude to have. Not much you or me can do about it anyhow. Hopefully things will get better as far as offensive production.

I'm pulling for the good guys. JJ's a good guy, so is Miles and everyone else. They are doing their best, I see a big turnaround coming this weekend. Well okay, I'll take a small turnaround also.

While Im still not full blown positive...at the WVU game I found myself just accepting what our offense will look like for the rest of the year.

I dont agree with it, but I wont let the playcalls and QB situation piss me off anymore. Its a waste of energy

That's what I'm trying to do. I do think the negativity of the fan base starts to reach a tipping point.

Reality is if the team underachieves, eventually changes will be made, but that shouldn't our concern right now. lets get behind these guys for better or worse. They are our team. Lets root like hell for them. All of them.

I admit I was glad to hear the booing on Saturday during the game. AFter a few days to think about it, I wish it hadn't happened and I hope it never happens again.

Don't accept things as status quo, and go ahead and post concerns and disappointments. You don't have to be all PollyAnna, the perspective is REALLY where it's at!!

Keep on preaching. This is definitely the message that has to be heard.

As much as we all have our rational predictions at the start of the year or in the spring (mine being 8-4); once the season starts, as a fan, you cant help but cling to that hope that "we may be able to get to the SECCG".

I think thats where people start to get frustrated, their rational side and somewhat delusional side battling it out. Obviously everyones view of such differ, but you get the point.

Just sayin - you don't know how many Tuesdays over the last three years that I have reached that point.

And then by the 2nd quarter on gameday, my blood pressure starts rising and I find myself in that negative place once again where I am cursing Miles, Jefferson, Alleva, and all the sunshine pumpers.

Quite frankly it's been old (not just starting to get a little old.)

Yep. for me its not just my own expectations but just letting myself only focus on the negative stuff to the point where I can't enjoy the good stuff the team does.

I'm drawing a line in the sand today to make a change. I'm challenging the other fans who may be in my boat to do the same.
