As a QB..

my name will remain un told but yall bitch and complain about Jordans last game, yeah, it wasnt his best but ima gonna tell yall a lil something about the position since 99% of yall dont know what yall are talking about. JJ is not to be blamed for all of the offensive struggles. the line cant block for the option very well for one. secondly, when your line gets penalties, and your stuck with lets say 2nd and 15 and crowton calls for a 3 yard gain. its 3rd and 12. on those situations 99.9% of the time the defense will only rush 3 and the other 8 are in coverage. so if you have 4 wide, do the math. thats double coverage on every reciever on the field. those are extremely hard throws to make. mixed in with the horrible passing plays called itd be hard for me to get in rhythm. sounds alot like our running game last season doesnt it? im just giving yall perspective but everyone needs to quit pointing the finger when it comes to the offense. our oc sucks, our recievers drop balls and alot of time make their route breaks way too soon and the oline cant block the option nor give the qb a time to check down very much. the only thing that is consistent is the running game so lets stop blaming one position. yall are sounding foolish sometimes.

It's much easier to blame the players though. Not the coaches that are responsible for putting them in position to be successful. They did the same thing to Lee. Now, it's Jefferson's turn. They will do the same thing to the next QB that comes in and gets confused by Miles and Crowton. That's what punks that never played the game do.

Now let me let YOU in on something. Receivers were running wide open last Saturday. Let me let you in on something else. When the pass doesn't even reach the players feet on throw and the one before that was over the receivers head it means your QB is highly inaccurate... which means in laymans terms he sucks.

Ok, so how come just about every other coach/team/QB IN THE NATION can do better?

Chill bro. I want to see JL too, but Jordan is trying his best. It may not be good enough this year, but I don't think he "sucks" either.

dont forget that long bomb to Toliver that was thrown too late and almost picked
had he thrown it on time, its a td

Stop watching the replay and posting about it. I just saw that play.
Terrible post.

I think just about every one on here (minus a couple of kool-aid holics) agrees that Crowton absolutely sucks as a QB coach and OC.
Yes, the WRs have dropped a few balls. But they have made some good catches too...and gotten clobbered because the throw from the QB left them hung out to dry. And lots of passes, too many to mention, have been inaccurate.
So Jefferson deserves blame. He cannot read defenses to save his life, is inaccurate, has no touch on the ball whatsoever, makes poor decisions, has absolutely no pocket presence at all, cannot sense pressure, possesses no leadership ability, etc, etc, etc.

Thank You

Apparently, JWILL has something against Lee. I think he said something about playing against him in high school in a thread a week or so ago.

And at what point is he suppose to be developed. If he leaves this program no better than he was when he arrived, who's fault is that?
We have not had a QB develop into much since Miles got here. Either you were extraordinarily talented before your arrived or you regressed.
We'll see how much Lee has developed really soon, I'm sure. I'll be sure to see how you describe him.

JJ..why didn't you take that shot and a beer I bought you at that strip club on Bourbon last summer?

All the more reason to start Lee. He throws lot of TDs. So what if 1/3 of Lee's TDs went into the wrong end zone?

Nothing against Lee, but why are folks so sure that he is better when he is being coached up by the same folks as Jefferson?
Serious question. Is it because of practice performance?

In no way am I declaring Lee to be the savior. In fact, the thought of him throwing greatly concerns me. When you are the 115th ranked offense you need to look for some kind of spark somewhere.
I don't expect Jefferson to get any better than he is right now. He is a QB of limited abilities and poor instincts. Moreover, we don't have a coaching staff that can help him in any way.
Again, our QB coach and OC...we might as well not have one.

now i didnt say that JJ had a perfect game because he didnt. yes, tolliver was open but the ball should have been caught period. whole point is you cant blame one person, just cant. it means your ignorant to the game. you dont know what play was called, the reciever could have ran the wrong route a lineman or rb coulda missed his block, anything could happen. point is, eventhough he hasnt been playing well, its not the qbs fault.
oh btw, anyone have jeffersons post game comments and les' conf. today? j/w

I do not know for sure, but I would have to say this is true.
Speaking of practice, I feel like this could turn into a real rift between Miles and the players. I am hearing grumblings that a few starters on both sides of the ball are worried that JJ may cost them a few games in the future, and as Jrs and Srs, they do not want to wait until a loss to decide to make a change. I think JJ will have to light it up against Tenn, or the UF week will be hellacious in that locker room next week. When I say light it up, I mean relative to his past performances (may 60-65% completion, 180+ yds, 1-2 TDs, 0 INTs). If not, and this team goes down to Gainesville and lays a fricking 50-60 yd passing performance to go along with a sound beating, you will begin to hear some players voice their opinions publicly.

That's all I'm saying.
I really wish fans wouldn't be so hard on anyone that plays the QB position at LSU because they are at a disadvantage as soon as they step on campus with this Offensive staff.
I just hope that if/when JLee gets a chance to play that he does well.
Personally, I don't expect much only because he's been under the tutoring of the same coaches that had him dazed and confused two years ago like Jefferson looks today. The only common denominators are Miles and Crowton. Yet fans are still expecting theses guys to develop themselves into Top Tier QBs.
