Firing Miles scaring other coaches off
Probably Germans but I haven't seen anything about it so here we go....

Lets say Miles has a 9-3 or possibly a 10-2 season, and still gets fired (or resigns) this year or the next. Will another coach want to come here to coach knowing that even though you win in a mediocre fashion you will be chastised to the point of no return. I don't support a lot of the decisions Miles makes. However how do you expect another coach to feel comfortable into an environment that not only do you have to win you have to be completely dominant doing it.

Disclaimer: This is not in defense of Miles in anyway nor do I mean by this post that I support his offensive decisions. This is simply a question about the apprehension another coach may face about taking over LSU.

Coaches do inherently have egos of epic proportions so that in itself will allow us to get a top knotch replacement. Also, please find me a national analyst, pundit, etc. that will go on record saying that Miles is a force to be reckoned with in the coaching world. You won't. That's because on the national scene and among his peers(which is where most of the media gets the info to form their opinions of coaches) consider him a complete idiot and know that he has underperformed with cards he's been dealt. Lastly, this is a moot point if he goes 9-3 or better. Sorry, if he wins 9 or 10 he's staying for atleast another 2 years.

This is a complete fabrication and total bullshite. Coaching is a close knit fraternity. Those guys don't talk about each other in a negative way to the media. Also, LSU has a bunch of very good assistants that had their choice of jobs and chose to work under Les.
