Same as it ever was..... the game is too fast for him and the players too big.

If this is he case he shouldn't be on the field for a SEC team!

Still, I think he's better rolling out. I would have him do that more often.

In the pocket, there are several problems, but they seem to be related to timing and presence. The best example of the timing problem is this: when he makes a decision to throw, even if it ends up being an on-target throw, very often (not always) it's thrown late. He needs to find his man and make a decision to throw.

I think he's been coached on this, though, but instead of fixing the problem, it has had some unfortunate side effects. For example, in a few instances, he's seemed a little rushed in choosing to throw an underneath route, instead of waiting for a longer route to develop.

I think he would benefit by sitting out a few series in-game. Help him calm down. Help him see the field. Many teams have done this sort of thing in the past. Hodson, who was an all-time great LSU QB did this with Mickey Guidry his first two years, I believe. And my recollection is that he believed it was helpful. Don't know why Les doesn't do it with JJ. I think JJ has the talent to be successful. I hope they can get him straight.

He can't make a quick decision, still locks on his receivers, when the first option is not open he tucks the ball and runs, and runs like a girl.

Jordan's biggest issue is Gary.

Footwork or confidence?

Footwork? I wish. Confidence is a major issue, but it is a symptom of the problems...not the cause.

This is correct.

yeah, many like to dismiss the idea of a 2-QB system, but it can be effective when utilized correctly.

JJ might benefit from watching Lee from the sidelines every few series or so. Just something to try to spark this offense.

Neither, his mechanics lead to errant throws under pressure.

CONFIDENCE!

Confidence in himself to lead and make the right plays...confidence in his teammates to make plays for him.
