I'm worried he'll wait until we are too far behind or that we blow a game we should have won before he pulls the trigger.

if Miles was ever close to pulling JJ, that thought was gone last week.

The fact that he wouldn't put Lee in earlier in the MSU game tells me he is going ride JJ until they both go down in flames.

yes

Then JLee will get blamed for not being ready, after having thrown a grand total of 1 pass; in the last 20 qtrs

Rotate them. I think JJ would benefit from seeing a series from the sidelines on occasion. Settle him down, help him see the defense from a different perspective. Also- make a defense prepare for two styles of offense: Potent and impotent.

Yeah sticking with Jefferson has been the reason we have lost all those games this year.

I just wish we had a coach like spurrier who could develop a QB but then tell them to GTFO if they are not producing.

We have coddled JJ way too much in his career. he may be the least effective QB overall in the nation.

There is nothing he does that scares D-coordinators.

I think the coaches are scared shitless to put Lee in the game based on his past performance. The fact is that neither is very good.
Plus, Crowton's pay calling and scheme is beyond pathetic.

So, we've got that going for us!

You would think that if JJ is great in practice and struggles in a game that LM would at least see if JL could play better in a game. Same as Ford who they say isn't husling like Blue is in practice. So we are led to believe that there are no gamers on this team just those who look good in practice.

just support your team today and quit trying to lose the game before we play it

Well they should have told the kid that and offered to give him his release. Sometimes that horrible experience by Lee could have given an incentive to work those flaws out and play better. We just need to see it for ourselves.
We played a 2 QB system that was rather successful years ago. Why not try?

This is positively idiotic.

Let me see if I understand your theory. Don't play the guys that are busting their asses off at practice, instead play those that don't practice as hard. Is that right? Don't go with the guys that pick up the plays better, hustle more and put more effort into it, but play the others just in case one might be saving his effort fo the game?
Thanks for the advice Coach Rockne.

Yeah I'm sick of hearing about Lee's past. he was a freshman and they put it all on his shoulders. He threw it a ton more than jefferson and if Jefferson threw it that much, he'd be throwing more picks too.

At least Lee could move the chains and stretch the field.

Just mechanics wise if you watch Jefferson he has absolutely zero improvement since his freshman year. in fact he may have regressed. I blame the coaches for having him play scared. They coach scared on offense.

Of course that stretched field sometimes snapped back with a pick 6.

Get to the game early and watch warmups and tell me who the better passer is. He won't be wearing #9.

So, I have a hard time believing that JJ is outperforming JLee in drills on the practice field, when he can't do it in warmups. But, there is certainly a disconnect somewhere because I seriously doubt Miles wants the worst Offense in the USA.

The QB situation for LSU is "Name Your Poison" You are going to die either way. Quick Death-JLee Knife to the heart
JJ- death by a thousand cuts.
