Ummmm... Everyone wanted Noel Devine. He would have been one of the top 5 recruits in the nation if he could have passed recess and hadn't stolen Neon Deion's car.

In all honesty, a lot of teams backed off of him and I still don't know how he got into school. He had a really bad family life and has apparently turned it around so I'm happy for him in that regard. However this Saturday I hope Nevis plants him in the turf until his helment pops off.

He's good and we need to bottle him up bg time. I think if we stop him (when) we will have them blown out.

We have a whole stable of great backs now and have more on the way. So no need to bring up old wounds

No one forgot as it's been posted quite a bit lately. He was a grades risk as I recall which kept all the SEC schools from being too inviting. Everyone knew he was ultra-talented. He will test the defense tomorrow night but that works both ways. He's not seen a defense this fast in some time, if ever.

Does anyone remember Devine could barely say his name, and was a 100% lock to go to Prep school, then all of a sudden he makes a passing grade? The kid would've never made the grades for LSU without cheating somehow...I'm sorry its the truth.

i am not trying to be a dick but i just dont understand the OP. Most 5 stars are wanted by almost everyone if not everyone in the country... I just dont see what you are getting at here. Im sure they wanted patrick johnson(peterson) when he was coming out of HS. So i just dont understand. and its devine not divine

Devine would be no better than a third down back for LSU. Too many horses that are bigger and just as fast.

In fact, none of WVU's starters could crack LSU's two deep.

Sort of like when WVU faced Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl a couple seasons ago.

Wait.....?
