Ten and two should be the worst that the Tigers finish. This weekend is a win. Tenn. sucks and has to get lucky to win. We got Bama at home and it's our year for the refs to CHEAT... yea I said it. Florida is gonna be tough on the road but we can win if their center shows up and plays. Our toughest game of the year will be against Heisman trophy winning q.b. Mallett from Arkansas. If we beat Bama and win the West, Miles will be praised and worshipped. Bama is always the key. If LSU beats BAMA this year it will undoubtedly be talked about as one of the best rivalries in all of college football.

I wish we could have held our position a little better. CBS, for now, has the ALA/UF game as their 7:30 matchup for the next 2 seasons - primetime. We can a) get it back with UF or b) force CBS to make it an LSU/BAMA thing. Either way, CBS is going to have to find a new game for that slot in 2 seasons as UF and Bama won't be playing. Funny how it was once UT/UF and now we're closer and closer to an LSU/Bama one, although UF is still a big factor - perhaps the main factor - as to why CBS even started doing night SEC games in the first place.

CBS has struck oil in night primetime games. Remember '98 UT vs. UF that went to a GW FG? How about our game in '07 with UF? They have whiffed a few times, too, but overall this is the best primetime college football slot of the season.

Bama doesn't appear to be overrated. Will know more this weekend but my guess is that they destroy Arky.

UF looks more manageable for LSU now however.

we can win the rest or lose the rest.

But more then likely something in between.

Not so sure with it being in Fayettenam. Bama's pass defense has yet to be tested. The Gump DBs may be a little overconfident going into this one.

One good revelation is we're about to see what those 2 Ds are all about. It's good to have them show their hand early.

Will see, but my guess is that Bama runs away with this one. Mallett is the type of QB Bama could just destroy.

Agreed. If Bama can get pressure, which it hasn't shown it can do much this season, then it's over before it starts. There's a lot of statistics to show that Mallett gets rattled easily.

absolutley. He might not complete a pass all night.

Give saban a dual threat and that is a different story hehehehe

To be fair i have seen pretty little of alabama this year. Doesn't matter though, saban puts out a consistant and quality team every year. And the little i did see of them led me to believe they were every bit as good as last year. Their LBing corps is sick.

We could go 1 - 8 to finish the season as long as that 1 win was against AL. F them.

My guess is that Bama is just going to tee off on Mallett. They will do the same vs LSU, except put 7-8 in the box and rattle JJ. Need to move the QB out of the pocket IMO.

The great thing about SEC football is that all of these questions will be answered in the end. We all have our opinions and have fun arguing back and forth but understand this -

Opinions are like assholes, we all got one and they all stink.

At the end of the year we will all know!

But my stinky opinion is that Alabama is for real and will beat Ark this weekend.

I also pick USCe over Auburn, LSU over WV, and Ga over MSU (but this is iffy)

True. Which is why this should be debate, not argument. Noe of us know, its all opinion.

i think bama's D matches up better to arkansas then us.

If only GC could get his offense running like it should, it would give saban (or any dc for that matter) fits

Dude Bama may be just as good if not better than last year. Mcelroy is for real and their offense is miles ahead of last year. With the amount of talent they have on D and Saban coaching you can't say their defense has suffered too much.

Bama, again is in a league of their own and you'll see that this weekend when they defeat Arkansas by double digits
