On HBO right now.

What a god-aweful movie. I had such high hopes, but damn. This movie could not have been worse.

How do you sign Bale as John Conner then don't even make him the focal point of the movie? Riddle me that Batman.

Lowering Skynet to the standard of being some James Bond villain is what killed it for me. Watching Skynet explain the whole plan to Marcus had me rolling my eyes in the theatre.

Yeah. What the frick man.

How do they fricking capture Kyle Reese and then don't kill him, but put him in a cell? What were they going to do? Let him rot away?

Sincerely,

Christian fricking Bale

That a-hole thought he was bigger than the script, tore it up, and made his own abortion. If it were not for Christian fricking Bale, this movie might have been alright... you know, ok in that sense of "good, for the 4th Terminator (this was the 4th, right?) sense of fricking good/ acceptable.

However, Bale had to be a bleeding heart all over this potential, and he ended up making this the second biggest cluster frick in the history of man.

I don't know if any of you fellas watched the Terminator Tv series but damn did that show know how to keep the integrity of the story intact without it becoming stupid. I like to think of the show as the way the Terminator story actually goes.

Good movie. The trick is to walk in with low expectations. If you honestly thought you were going to watch a good movie with a compelling story then I don't know what to tell you. I mean, it was directed by McG...the dude is a hack.

Thanks for reading my reasoning as to why I think it's a "good" movie.

You're welcome.

Baseed on the previous storylines, i did expect to see a good movie with a story that built on the previous movies.

Last time i checked, the director doesn't have anything to do with writing the movie. And i don't know who the frick McG is, so that didn't mean shite to me.

You do realize the writing is just a part of a larger piece right? Its not the only factor in a film. The script is just a raw material that the director molds into a finished product and its pretty much his interpretation you see on screen. He doesn't just copy and paste what he reads in the script onto film and says voila.

So what you're saying is that the director has nothing to do with writing the movie?

WTF are you talking about? You're saying the director isn't important. I'm saying he is.

Ya, I haven't seen in awhile, but when I left it I thought it brought the grit back to Terminator that T3 abandoned, just didn't propel the story very far but being the fourth one I was looking at it for action/cool factor more at this point of the series and enjoyed that.

Did Bale knock your wife up or something? Why did he suck the movie up?
