This is a very good team with championship potential...and all some of you people can do is look for something to bitch about.

I agree. I was skeptical, but after watching that D and JJ not make mistakes, I have a very good feeling about this year.

I really think we could be undefeated heading into Bama.

He threw ONE bad pass last night. I saw no mistakes other than that.

I'm still skeptical of our D in spite of all the praise heaped upon them.

We've only faced ONE real QB with real RECEIVERS and that was UNC. Remember what they did to our D?

I shudder to think what will happen to our D when we face some one with accuracy and receivers that can catch the ball.

This is better than what I was expecting. If the offense can improve somewhat, we can be very good.

That was the first game of the season on the road. They played alot of new players in different packages. Do you honestly think they would have put up those #s in week 3?

We will be much improved on defense by the Florida game.

After dominating and going up by 20 points and falling asleep after the half? Should it have happened? No. Is it indicative of our defensive abilities? Absolutely not.

Same can be said about those teams with "accuracy & receivers that can catch"...

The question is, what will they be able to do once they face a REAL D like LSU????

See how that works??

He did much better, but threw more than 1 bad pass. Which is the one bad pass you think?

Did you see him take a 4 yard loss on a pass play instead of throwing it away?

Did you see the pitch out on the option to blue?

the majority of that was done against backups and freshmen

I could see this years team being compared to LSU's 03 defense at the end of the season if they keep improving and keep injuries down.

I said it before, but by the end of the year, this defensive unit may be better than the 2003 defense.

I have decided to stop focusing on the offense (red zone play calling ) and enjoy the defense this team is displaying.

I haven't seen a swarming Defense like this since 03, from any team. Yeah they are young and will have some plays they make a bad choice, but the talent this defense has is unreal.

I do see a glaring resemblance to the 03' team, but the passing game isn't close yet. I know Mauck wasn't lighting it on fire, but he did well.

What ya think, 11 ppg average for opposing teams end of year?
