Because it's the strength of our offense. Do you not see that?

So do you think our running game is good enough? I don't. By your own concession, we don't come close to having a championship caliber run game. Everybody wants to blame JJ and Crowton for the lack of red zone offense, but I think if we had a better O line and running backs we might have picked up a few more first downs and changed some of those FGs to TDs. A great run game makes the QB's life a hell of lot easier. Which is why Bama went 14-0 last year.

Sad day that we are now trying to compare ourselves to Bama. :(

Truth!

And as I just said in another post, the comparisons to Alabama last year just need to stop. There are absolutely no comparisons. Alabama had one of the most dominant if not the most dominant running games in the country last year featuring the Heisman Trophy winner and an almost equally solid side kick in Trent Richardson. Like him or not McElroy was effective when the tide chose to throw the ball and they did it just enough to force defenses to stay honest and not load the box to try to stop the run.

We average 200+ yards per game on the ground. If you people are correct and Jefferson is as bad as the common thought suggests.. wouldn't that mean our running game is BETTER than the stats show?

You lose again rantards
