When's the last time you've personally seen him throw more than one pass?

WE DON'T HAVE THE QBs TO DO THIS
Why? Is it poor evaluation of QB recruits or poor coaching of those recruits? Honest question, not looking for a flame.

Personally I just want LSU to win. And they DID!!

Do I have to explain to you why we can't throw for 500 yards a game?
It wouldn't help if you tried ... but you know that already.
That aside, even if we had Bert Jones in his prime under center why would we want to throw for 500 yards a game with our defense? Shorten the game, finish in the 4th quarter (which we've done in the last two games) and move on to the next opponent.
The collective angst comes from the uncertainty, I think - the sense that our offense might not be able to get it done when it has to in order to win. Only time will tell on that.

True.
Also, I think, it comes from the sense that if this team could achieve some kind of offensive balance (say, 200 ypg passing), then it would be formidable and contend for championships. (No need to exaggerate; I don't believe I've heard many people calling for a 500 ypg passing attack.) And I think we have the ability to mount a passing threat, but it feels like we haven't really achieved that consistent threat for nearly two seasons.
Without at least some kind of balance, it's hard to imagine competing for championships. Obviously, competing for championships is what most fans and the coaches and players want.

Spot on, IMO, FWIW. We, the fans, are still in the throes of a collective hangover from the offensive woes of last year. Except for the turnover fest and subsequent defensive breakdowns against UNC, in conjunction with the defense and special teams play, the offense has gotten it done this year, albeit in a mundane, unspectacular fashion.
There's the ongoing rub: will our offensive unit rise to the challenge against top tier SEC teams ... or not? D*mnit, we, the fans, don't know and that's frustrating.
That notwithstanding, I'd a helluva lot rather be 3-0 with my offensive question marks and angst than 0-3, 1-2 or 2-1.
