I havent missed a game in about 6 years. In Toronto where I used to live every Hooters has the NCAA package on cable or dish and Boston Pizza and my own local get the package for me as well... 
I agree though conflicting schedule missed games are especially hard to take..

I signed up for the NFL package on Rogers which includes the NCAA package. This is my first football season up here and I'm willing to spend the extra money for the sports packages. I'll have to look up the prof. at MUN if he's an LSU hand.
