Disguise them as liquor bottles and you'll have no trouble.

Seriously, I have no idea. I do know some state fans get them in at every away game, so there must be a way.

Much easier than getting you out the stadium unconscious.

the north endzone event staff have been given specific instruction not to obstruct the MSU fans from bringing their cowbells into Tiger Stadium so feel free.

Please elaborate on this. The MSU seating area is in the south endzone. What's with all this north endzone stuff where the LSU students are? I am legitimately asking.

pic caption-Coach Sherrill being carried off very gently after his final game.

Your all-time great Head Coach Sherill was facing the NCAA death penalty, and he knew it(something about bull castration..but let's not go there).

None of those Bulldogs had any illusions about ever leaving that Tigerstadium alive, let alone winning the game. So three days before the Tigers took the ballgame, your Coach Jackie asked a gunner on the punt team, a kid named Winocki, a freshman he had never played before in his life, to deliver to the next HC, who he had never seen in the flesh, his maroon cowbell. Three weeks later, your Coach Sherrill was let go. But Winocki kept his word. After the season was over, he paid a visit to your new HC Croom, delivering to your infant HC, his maroon cowbell. This cowbell. This cowbell was in your Coach Sherill's @ss when he was shot down by the NCAA. He was canned and put in a NCAA prison camp.

He knew if the gestapo bastards ever saw the cowbell that it'd be confiscated; taken away. The way your MSU Fanbase looked at it, this cowbell was your birthright. They'd be damned if any NCAA yankees were gonna put their greedy hands on this Bulldog birthright. So they hid it in the one place they knew they could hide something. Jackie's arse. Thirteen long years, he wore this cowbell up his arse. Then he died of dysentery, he'd now gave Croom the cowbell. Sly hid this uncomfortable hunk of metal up his arse for five years. Then, after after two years, Mullen was sent to the Starkvegas ER saying he couldn't take it much longer..this prostatically challenging MSU Football Program.

And now, little man, after all those great Bulldog HC sacrifices, you wish to foolishly risk LSU-PD confiscating the MSU 'silver chalice'..you wish to sneak the maroon cowbell into Tigerstadium..

Tisk tisk...Emory Bellard is somewhere asking "what in the holy colonoscopy are you thinking young man"?

At Davis-Wade maybe.

August 18, 2010

On June 4, the league’s athletic directors and university presidents have voted Friday to approve a temporary change to the policy on artificial noisemaker rule by allowing Mississippi State fans to walk through Davis-Wade Stadium with a cowbell.

The modification to the policy officially allows fans to use a cowbellonly at Scott Field for the first time in 36 years during pregame, halftime, between quarters, timeouts, after scoring plays and during possession changes. According to the new wording of the rule, MSU fans would not be allowed to bring and ring a cowbell into an opponents stadium.
