how in the world are we #12 in the coaches poll?

Do the coaches watch ANY of the games? I know they normally get assistant AD's to rank the teams for them, but c'mon. LSU has no business being #12.

List the teams ranked lower than LSU that should be higher.

Va Tech lost ahead of us and teams that were near us in the poll also lost

I would seriously love to see the coaches poll mid season if it was run by the rant. I seriously think that a 7-0 LSU team would be ranked 24th because we didn't "dominate" enough.

I remember the amount criticism here after we beat MSU 45-0 in our opening game in 2007. It was ridiculous.

I don't think I have ever seen fans of a team bitch about being ranked too high. We have some miserable people in this fanbase.

Last year was worse when we were #4. I can understand that mentality last year, but to say that we don't belong at 12 is a little bit of self loathing fandom.

man i said it before and i will say it again.
college football as a whole is sort of down.. so nothing wrong with LSU climbing the ranks. it's a very talented team. one of the most in the country.. and the defense is playing terrific with a lot of young talent. the offense will make it's strides.

When I saw this on Sunday, my reasoning was that the "coaches" know all we need is some good QB play and we can be a very good team. (I'm not bashing the QB, I'm saying we need better QB performance)

texas mirrored our vandy win in both its games, struggled with 2 awful teams early, let the otherteams implode to pull away.
Florida has struggled mightily vs 2 terrible teams.
Alabama Ohio st and oregon are the only teams who have shown a little dominance, and Bama has played anyone except a young penn st, who was in bama territory everytime i looked, only to pick off a pass. but they have been the most dominant

We are 12 because early on college football is down. OU whooped fsu, but they also only won first game by 7 to a terrible team.
