My GF made reservations at Clancy's tonight for my bday dinner but they don't have ESPNU. Any suggestions on a good place to eat and watch the game?

i just thought of an awesome one for you, no bs, la thai on prytania has flatscreens everywhere and the food is incredible...idk if they have espnu but we went a week ago and they had the mlb channel so chances are that they do...idk if thai food is your style, but you wont regret it

I would try to push up the reservation at clancy's but they don't open till 5:30, kick off is at 6:00 so I don't think I'll be able to do both. I'm aware of the new Orleans restaurant style and I'm not that worried about going somewhere nice. Looking for something between hooters and commander's. I know there's got to be some places out there. Help me out Nola sportsfans/foodies.

I think you need to get your bitch in line and take her out on a date some other time. LSU games take priority.

im getting off, but if you go to la thai here's an idea of what to get...

app:
coconut shrimp-much more dynamic than what you would expect-like 6-8 bucks

entrees:
thai coon -16 bucks
paht thai-13 bucks

both entrees are awesome and they have good sized portions...good luck on your search brother...here is a good resource for options-www.nomenu.com and then go to the all restaurants list and start searching

Thanks for the advice cosmo, but my "bitch" wants to watch the game just as bad as I do. I was just looking for suggestions.
La Thai is a strong possibilty.

cafe giovanni doesnt have TVs in the dining room. Youd have to eat at the bar, which is a totally separate room

Mr. B's has a TV in the bar which is basically attached to the dining room.
