I always thought that God made heaven to be each man's most wonderful, perfect place. Maybe when your Grandpa walks through the pearly gates, he will walk out onto the 50 yard line in Tiger Stadium, in front of 95,000 screaming fans, and God will announce over the PA: "Welcome to Death Valley. The sun is going down and it's Saturday Night!"

I'm emotional enough with today being 9/11 and all the ceremonies on TV and the fact that I live 10 miles from the WTC and work i Manhattan. I then read all these posts and I feel uplifted that this gentleman is a beacon for all of us. Let the Tigers win for him and let him go with a peaceful herart that he lived a good life and left a great family legacy.

God Bless him, the family and all the USA today

My Dad's last game to watch was last year when we beat Arkansas 33-30 in OT. He passed away Dec 20th. Yesterday would have been his 65th birthday...It has been really hard this year not being able to talk to him about the Tigers...Man I miss him!

Enjoy your time with your grandpa while he is here..God Bless!
