AU outgained MSU by like a 104 yards of total O.

I had to do a take.

I was expecting AU to at least hit 450+ yards of total O and score 30+ points on an average and small MSU defense.

So are you suggesting holding MSU to 14 points is a sign of a relevant defense?

You guys looked mediocre against one of the worst offenses in the SEC. (NO offense MSU)

I'd be worried.

considering that was Cam's first start in an SEC game, i would say no. The second half MSU was throwing a lot of strange looks at him and he really struggled. You guys haven't even begun to see this offense once Cam gets use to SEC play.

We lost our starting LT and RB and gained 348 yards total, I'd call that a pretty solid day overall on an away game.

Also when you consider the offense was inside the redzone twice and made bonehead penalties that got us a field goal another time a similar issue and another time we got a penalty to get us from well inside field goal range to out of it completely. Put it at 23 points at minimum on that without those mistakes and it wasn't a bad offensive performance. Get a TD one one of those and go to 27 points and no one would say a word.

Every offense is "figured out" it still comes down to execution and we didn't get it done that well last night but considering everything that happened it is understandable.

Also that MSU defense might have been small but Mullen had scouted this game for 3 weeks so it is safe to say they had a pretty solid game plan coming into this game.
