When was the last time you saw JJ throw 6 pick sixes?
this fricking line of thinking.
Its a given that JJ will improve from soph to jr but JL isnt given the same courtesy.
And funny thing is JL was redshirt fricking freshman.
Im so sick and tired of hearing that from you idiots.

LSU was easily driving and fumbled on the UNC 15, then Ridley's TD is called back by a "hold".

First of all, I thought JJ showed definite signs of improvement. I noticed him checking to second and third options, which was not something he did much last season. I think he played well overall.
As far as JL, I think he's got great heart and can throw a nice pass. I'm just concerned that he isn't mobile enough to be effective with our somewhat questionable offensive line's pass protection.
To answer your question, that's why I wouldn't give him a shot. I think he'd get sacked too much. Not necessarily a knock on him, just the state of the team I think.

Shouldn't lee earn his job?
Flynn was on the bench because Russell was better
Lee is on the bench because Jefferson is better
And it pisses rantards off

Keep reading into the stats and that'll get us 7 wins. JJ has a good completion percentage but he can't find the 2nd or 3rd option receiver if his life depended on it. No change has taken place from 09. We have same O philosophy and same level of QB play(this is why crowton needs to go IMO). I'm pullin for the kid I just don't think he will get any better after sat performance. Hopefully he humbles me vs vandy this weekend. Would love nothin more than a big game from JJ and a 55-10 win this sat. We need a blow out win to heal some of the grumblings. Geaux tigers

A) 1st half, JJ looked very good and made some very quality throws. 2nd half our coaches took him completely out of his rythym, please tell me how you can't see that.
B) How do I know he hasn't overcome his interception bug? See in the Spring game where he threw a Pick 6
C) How can you completely blame Jefferson when the playcalling was atrocious? You really think Lee would have done better? JJ got sacked once, threw one INT (which was a throwaway at the very end of the half), and an intentional grounding. Out of all the plays run in the game that's not very many true "mistakes." Guy was 15/21 for 150 yards...not great, but pretty solid. 10 yards a completion is not bad and everyone knows we should hvae throw more.
D) Do you know Lee personally? Because I have seen you constantly take up for him even after his pick 6's, Bama game, and La Tech game.

if Lee looked ready in practice don't ya think they would have put him in?

In 2008, JLee played in 11 games, had 9 sacks. JJ played in 2.5 games had 8 sacks
In 2009, JLee played in 1.5 games, had 3 sacks. JJ played in 11 games, had 34 sacks
I think you've misplaced your sack meter

Yet he still wouldnt connect on passes more than 10 yards (1-7)

offensive line did fine. Lee has shown he can make decisions and get the ball out of there quickly

(THINKING)
This is not about thinking this about you bash my pick = I bash your pick!
The funny thing is that they are both in a system that doesn't have a leader!

Miles has refuses to give QB's a shot. JJ didnt get his shot till Lee got hurt

It works perfectly for me.
If those two things happen, LSU wins in a blowout and MOST people here love Jefferson's improvement.
Instead, those fumbles/penalties happened and it was a very close game. Now a lot of people think Jefferson 09 is back.
So things outside of Jefferson's control played a major part in whether or not fans think Jefferson played well.

Yeah, to the wrong team
Lee gets pressure and throws it up
