Why wasn't Murphy's fumble reviewed?

It may not have been reversed but it sure look like his knee had hit the ground before the ball came out.
Other fumbles were reviewed so why not Murphy's? Or why didn't Les challenge the call?

Bc our coach is an idiot.
It absolutely should have been.

UNCs twice got a review for a change in call that would have favored them without having to call a timeout.
I didnt really understand it.

It should have been reviewed. The ground caused the fumble.

The ball was out before his knee hit the ground. All calls are reviewed. If Les had challenged the call,he would have lost the challenge. The runners need to secure the football better. When you hold the ball out away from your body, you are asking to get it stripped from you. Lack of focus.

You need to watch that play again...his elbow was down before the ball came out. That was clearly not a fumble.

Because it was a fumble.
Just saw it and as the announcers said, maybe les should have it reviewed. His arm hit the ground and the ball popped out. it wasn't a fumble.

yep, plus the ground caused the fumble. it is what it is though.

The ball was loose well before that. He didn't have control before he hit the ground. It may not have come out yet, but he didn't have control. And all plays are reviewed. It was a fumble by a long shot. Really not that close in my opinion.

Murph was down. I couldnt believe it was uncontested. Les needs to hire someone to walk around the sideline with him that possess common sense to advise him.

Can't believe it wasn't reviewed. Thank goodness they missed the PI on the last play or my heart would have exploded. Was every fumble reviewed except for that one? I hate refs.

As was said earlier, every play is reviewed. Some plays just get further review.

If we would have snapped the ball then Ridley fumble would have not been a fumble. We had the chance to snap the ball before the review.

Don't be a jerk. It wasn't reviewed like the other fumbles.

looked like a fumble, sorry to say.

I also thought it was a crappy missed fumble call midway through the third quarter. LSU's defense stood NC running back #6 (Elzy?) up at the line and he fumbled and we recovered... but they called it dead (forward progress) even though he was still pumping his legs and struggling to move forward. That would've given LSU the ball with almost in scoring position.
