OK. What was it on 3rd down when we needed him to keep the drive going?

It would be in the 80's if he would learn to check off his receivers down field. The o-line gave him the time

most were short, quick passes to the first look WR. JJ still looks scared and nervous in the pocket.

And only 150 yds, on a depleted defense with 3 5* receivers.

I think I could have accomplished that.

He HAS to let the ball go earlier...especially on the deep routes. He had to throw the ball on a line and take a hit in the chin on the Randle throw because he held the ball too long. If he had done it correct, the ball would have left his hand as Randle is flying by the DB with a little loft on it.

To his credit, he really did step up in the pocket on multiple occasions yesterday. He made two terrible decisions on the run. Other than that, he did ok.

Are you an alter of TheDoc? JJ would have been a decent Sunbelt QB, he doesn't belong in the SEC. Three yard dump passes when we have 5* wideouts running free in their secondary ain't gonna get it done.

Time to see if JL is over the yips and can bring his practice play to the games. I am ready to give high risk/high reward another try. Watching JJ attempting to drive what should be a Ferrari is painful.
