It works for me.

Gracious that's a young defense. I see the LBs ended up out of the depth chart. I know there was some question about that. We should be able to capitalize.

How would you like to be a 19 year old freshman who was just promoted to starter.

Oh yeah, and for your first assignment you get to cover RS, TT and/or RR.

I bet he'll be praying that the D line will be able to help by getting some pen..... oh, wait.

I'm thinking they'll play a lot of zone in the secondary.

VERY small defensive line. Only one guy over 300 lbs. in the 3 deep. We should be able to wear them down by pounding Ridley, Ford, and Murphy.

Or,

Throw at will on the inexperienced secondary.

North Carolina will have talent and they will come out fired up, but if we stay consistent, we should start pulling away by the second quarter and make it a route by the end.

IF we stay consistent. This game is on LSU and will be a HUGE test of how far we have come.

Were any of these players 5 star or big time 4 star recruits? I imagine there are some.

Assuming Loston doesn't start, they have as many 5 star players on their starting defense as we do (1).

From a "talent" standpoint, their defense is not that bad. DE Paige-Moss should be a stud; think Sam Montgomery. The starting tackles are both highly rated, 4 star guys (Coples, Powell). The linebackers are similar--two highly recruited studs (Reddick & Brown).

I'm sure the depth is lacking but we are playing some athletes. In fairness, UNC was probably our 3rd-to-5th hardest opponent (Florida, Bama, Auburn, Arky). Now, they are our 5th-7th (Same as above + Tennessee & West Virginia).

But they will still give us a game. Unfortunately, the story line has been written and unless we beat them by 20, it will be a disappointment. That's unfortunate.

Remember we still don't have a great QB or an experienced OL. It's not like we are playing Tulane. We won't change our gameplan and will still play conservative for the first game.

I disagree. I'm calling it and saying that we get after it tomorrow night. I think we'll see a much more open Tigers offense.

DE Paige-Moss, 5 star
DT Coples, 4 star
DT Powell, 4 star
MLB Reddick, 4 star
OLB, Brown, 4 star

We will not get credit for it but if LSU has a good offensive performance, intelligent Tiger fans should start getting excited. Up front, even as depleted, UNC's defense is one of the top 3 or 4 we'll see all season and probably top 20. Secondary is where they really got hurt.

But we should find out really quickly if our offensive line is truly better than 2009. These guys are NOT going to lay down. I would argue that the front 7 is better (even as presently constituted) than all we face, save Florida and Bama).

If we can run on these guys and not give up sacks, the national media won't be impressed but you all should be.

Dear Mike Lineback.

I REFUSE to be impressed by looking at things rationally.

I know. But sometimes you have to try. What would you be if you didn't try. You have to try.
