Taking sons to their first college game this weekend (LSU/UNC)

I'm an LSU grad (twice), divorced and do not have primary custody. Their mom moved the kids to the north Georgia mountains, so I moved after them to participate in their lives and to be a part of their community.
Since LSU is in Atlanta this weekend (and since I happen to have them this weekend), that's too close to ignore and I'm taking them to the game. They're 11 and 7 years old, they've never been to a college game (much less to an LSU game) they live in a town of less than 1,000 people...needless to say, I expect this to be quite the experience for them! Does anyone know:
a) where Tiger Band is stepping off at the Georgia Dome;
b) where in the dome they are going to enter the stadium; and
c) if there are any good tailgates in the area (like TD gatherings, alumni and etc.).
Thanking everyone in advance!

I don't know any answers to your questions, but passing on the tradition of LSU football to your sons is a great bonding time!!! I do it every home game.

Call LSU or The Advocate and I'm sure they can give you those details. Have a good time with your sons!!

You're welcome to drop by our tailgate in the big dirt/parking lot just south of the dome. Look for my P&G tent but if my kids were still small, I'd keep 'em downtown, maybe CNN Center. Dress 'em up in LSU colors and let 'em 'tiger bait' the UNC fans.

Your tailgate might be one of many purple and gold ones in the vicinity, but we'll drop by if we can find it!

I'm taking my 6 and 9 year old boys, too. This will be their 2nd LSU game (they saw LSU @ SC in 2008). They're pumped...

I don't know the answers to your questions. I do, however, wanted to say I know this will be something your boys will remember the rest of their lives and one you'll cherish as well.

Their mom now dates a UGA grad and all of their friends and neighbors are UGA fans. They are in danger of growing up into UGA fans...help a brother out! They need to leave this game with their minds set right!
