If LSU "O" moves to 40 out of 120, what will be our 2010 record?

So, LSU finished the season with the 112th ranked offense in the country in 2009 - putrid
Most expect pretty reasonable improvement of the Offense in 2010...
...so lets assume the defense stays about the same in performance/ranking as 2009 (pretty dang good, and had us with the lead in the 4th Qtr in all but 1 game despite the offensive struggles) and we move to 40/120 in Offensive performance (by compare, Ole Miss finished 41st in 2009)...
...If so, under these assumed conditions, is our upcoming 2010 regular season record?:
A) 9-3
B) 10-2
C) 11-1
D) 12-0
(Note: not gonna entertain less than 9 wins under these assumptions, which should be an ok assumption)
Here are the teams who finished in this general offensive area in 2009 (of course against different defenses):
LINK
36 North Texas
37 Penn State
38 Michigan State
39 Buffalo
40 Northwestern
41 Mississippi
42 Wake Forest
43 Alabama
44 Bowling Green
45 Miami (Florida)
46 North Carolina State
47 Illinois

10-2 with the tougher schedule, maybe even 11-1 with a little luck.

the cards would say 11-2. However the gut says 10-3 but winning the Capital One bowl this year over tOSU as they get raped by Wisconsin and PSU.

112 to 40 is one hell of a jump
thats roughly 100 more yards per game if you look at the 40th ranked offense from 2009

So you think the defense stays the same, the offense improved (in this assumed case) from 112 to 40th, and LSU ends up with the same 9-3 regular season record (your 10th win was in the bowl game)?
So you think the schedule is that much more difficult, or we get worse breaks?

LSU's 2009 offense was the worse I have seen since the dreaded 90's era....work with me brother, as this is a positive-fed assumption case...

Depends on what the defense and special teams do.

2009:
Aubbies finished 16th/120
Arky 19th/120
We CAN move to 40th dude!

Thats 80 spots!
Arky only moved up 30 by adding Mallett, and while Auburn did move up significantly they did so by changing their entire staff, offense, and QB. LSU aint changed much.
jus sayin

no doubt. with 100+ more yards of offense per game we would beat all challengers. especially with our D and special teams this year.

Bama's offense was 42 last year and they went 14-0 with a MNC. Of course, their defense was stifling; probably better than ours even controlling for the situations our offense put our defense in.
That being said, we were beating Bama to start the 4th quarter.
It's really tough to say nothing goes wrong but we would go 10-2 at worst if the O improves to 40 and our defensive play is flat with 09
