If this was some football factory program, then I might see it, but UNC is very proud of its academic prowess and integrity. The chancellor will not tolerate this stuff.
What makes the situation tough is the UNC Honor Court. The Honor Court is very tough and time consuming. If the violations fall there, it may take a while. Some rumors that there could be some editing issues that are against NCAA rules, but are not against University policy. This is the better case, because the NCAA violations are minor. There are not any minor Honor Court violations. Honor Court at UNC is a core value that not even the Chancellor will intercede.
