All I've been reading about is how great the UNC defense is and how bad we suck on offense. No way in hell T.J. Yates (60% completion rate; 14TD's and 15int's in '09) wins this game. Also, their leading rusher Ryan Houston had 630 yds (3.8) avg. What the hell? Chavis must be grinning ear to ear!

Did everyone forget that we actually have a pretty damn good defense?!?! Peterson gets 2 picks in this game and we score late to put it away 28-13.

My $.02

our offense was just as shitty as theirs last year and their defense is just as good as ours.. Yates turns the ball over more than JJ. In all reality based off of last season, this game is a wash

I'm wit you they are good against a ACC team but they have not seen anything like the tigers in the first game of the season. They have a decent defense but they have a qb that was horrible, we win by 3 tds.

I was about to post something very similar. Our defenses are about equal, and I'd rather our offensive weapons compared to theirs by a long shot (not to mention our speed).

I think you're right. Someone asked in another thread how we beat nc.

Ball control by establishing the run
No turnovers
DEFENSE!!!!
field position
Special teams

Weird how most football games are won this way. Why expect any different.

UNC, or the ACC, do not play teams with the all around speed of an SEC team. I know its cliche, but its true.

Did Va Tech look fast in Death Valley 3 years ago? Not so much.

That is why LSU wins this game. And we score more than 20 on them.

Collectively the RBs have to go over 100 yards and LSU should be fine against UNC (barring TO's obviously). Averaging slightly over 3.5 ypc a la last season is not going to fly.

UNC's only hope on offense will be if Renner plays. The guy has a good, accurate arm, and he throws well on the run. Good athlete, just no experience.

Their offensive line is paper thin, too. If they have any injuries at all, then it's gonna get even uglier for them.
