Damn, Colin is going off on the pre season polls

Just bashing Boise State for being in the preseason top 5. 
Said they don't belong with the LSU's, Aubies, Bama's, UGA's and UF's.
Notice: Wasn't saying they aren't a bad team. Just saying that they don't belong in teh NC. I agree. Play some real teams. If I have to watch them in the NC game, I'm gonna be pretty upset and will be rooting against them.

I dont think they belong there but they did go undefeated last year and return all of their startes which tells me that none of them were good enough to go to the next level which is why i dont think they belong in the top 5. We will see what kind of team they really are when they line it up against VT.

Aren't they playing Virginia Tech first this year? I mean, i understand where he is coming from. But, you have to play the teams that are on your schedule. That is all that you can do. I think that hopefully this is yet another of the 5 BILLION reasons why we need some sort of a playoff so that teams like Boise can actually get to play more than 1 team that might be good. So that in the end, we will all actually know who the best team is and there won't be any debate.

but thats the problem. Boise State should not be judged on whether they can beat Virginia Tech.
Florida, LSU, Alabama, even Virginia Tech has to beat several ranked teams in order to get a shot

VTEch is the ONLY team they will play all year. You do understand if Vtech turns out to be overrated, they will go to a NC if the remain undefeated?
The other top 15 are better than them by leaps and bounds. You can't convince me that team could beat anyone in the top ten.

Honestly, preseason is DUMB. Shouldn't even be there.
But, teams should be judged by talent if they are going to attempt it. But it's still stupid.

Kellen Moore is legit... And they did beat Oregon and TCU last year... Im not saying they belong, but until THEY LOSE, they shouldn't be looked over.

I'll tell you what my biggest concern with Boise is: Because there schedule is weak, they don't risk the injuries that other teams in major conferences do. SO when they get to the bowl game every year, they are at a roster advantage.
Their bodies are tore up from playing back to back to back games against Flrodia, LSU, Au, Bama, UGA . . . I guarantee you they would not be nearly as successful post season if their schedule beat them up a little more.

I think Boise State is a good program, and I also think Kellen Moore is a top 3 Heisman candidate. But, in no way, shape, or form do I believe they should have a shot at the title game. If they are so confident in their program, then why wouldn't they schedule a more difficult OOC schedule? This is the only way to justify Boise's creditability in regards to their program's prestige. To be the best, you have to beat the best; and they do nothing to prove this IMO. Their fallacious arguments involving their previous win over Oklahoma are simply ridiculous. Of course it's a great win, anyone in the country can agree to that; but, they have all season to prepare for one or two great performances! Can you imagine LSU circling VT on their calendar, KNOWING that a win would more than likely result in an undefeated regular season? Then, having only ONE more tough opponent? Every team in the SEC plays games as tough and/or tougher week in and week out. Every one has some cupcakes scheduled here and there, but Boise St. literally goes on a pastry binge for the entire regular season. By no means does this even compare to the weekly "life or death" grind that's found in the SEC.

Eh, it's not that easy for them. Who in their right minds really wants to play Boise as an OOC? Most prefer cupcakes, so it's hard for them to get big teams to play them. Trust me, they try. They wouldn't be moving conferences if they could schedule the way they wanted to.
