Said if you lose a game and don't start in top 8, you pretty much have no chance of winning the title. Also said AP is the trendsetter in preseason for setting national opinion for teams.

yes i do...i also realize we lost 2 games that year and still frickin won it all. So Brad Edwards can suck it.
Anyone who's job is "BCS expert" is a loser anyway

the point is being missed in my opinion. the polls indicate what the rest of the nation thinks of our program and team.
this team may run the table and get some of the respect back, but i agree that we have lost much of the respect the program had obtained.
all the team spirit in this thread is wonderful, but the fact remains that we have some work to do if we want to regain our national status as a top team. i hope we do that.
