shut the frick up. they haven't even played a damn game yet this season
so preseason polls don't matter? BCS guru Brad Edwards was just talking on ESPN about how much preseason rankings matter and pretty much determine which few teams get a crack at the title. He said going back 50 years, 16 teams won the title with a loss and 15 of the 16 began season in top 8. Said if you lose a game and don't start in top 8, you pretty much have no chance of winning the title. Also said AP is the trendsetter in preseason for setting national opinion for teams.

The preseason polls matter and Leslie has taken our program to a place where national respect for our program is so low that we are outside the top 20 and no one even mentions LSU.

Regardless of where LSU starts out, if they win every game, they play for a NC. That being said, I believe LSU will go 8-4 or 9-3 if they can get a few breaks.

Yeah buddy, the years he was referring to were before a time where the sec contained at least 3teams in the top 10 year in year out (for the most part) ... with wins over UF, bama, and unc with a random loss... There would be a high chance we play for the NC.. can't believe everything you hear on tv guy

Dude preseason polls only help schools like Boise St and teams in lower teir conferences. IF LSU is able to beat UNC, WV and FL and be 6-0 they will be a top 5 team easy. I dont see LSU being 6-0 after that but 5-1 is reasonable, with LSU being in the top 15.
