We dont have the OL to run a HB Toss imo. Way too many chances for blown assignments or missed blocks

we can't run the GD option. we have 2 QB's, i repeat 2 QB's on scholarship right now....
how did Colt McCoy get hurt last year in the NC? A fricking option.

Most are being funny about running the option since neither QB knows how to properly execute it. (Translation: We suck at it!) As for me, I just enjoyed watching RP and KW execute it...it was a thing of beauty.

Of course we can't run the option, but a hurt QB won't stop Crowton from calling it. (He called it against Bama right after Jefferson injured his ankle) ... Hell he may call it more because the defense won't expect an option play with an injured QB.

it would be absurd to run it unless it's shep running the option. we can't risk JJ and Lord knows JL is too fricking slow.

Delayed release of the RB over the middle.
Crowton NEVER sends the RB over the middle. It's always to the flat or on a swing pass. I remember back in the day, Dalton Hilliard made a living eating up LBs over the middle after a pass from the QB.

The middle has just not existed for us since Hester left (at least against the good teams). If we can get those 3-4 yards up the middle, we'll be moving the chains a lot more. I still don't think that it'll work this year with this group of players, but I'm no Crowton.
