I think Aarti is nice to look at, and from what I have seen she can cook, but I don't think there is a chance in hell I will watch her show. I think Tom had the most mass appeal.

Let me be the first to say that this thread is useless without pics.

I liked Tom,, but his show would be just like Guy or Big Daddy. They probably went with Aarti because she showed she could cook the best/most consistently of the three, and her show might bring in another demographic of people that aren't already watching.

Tom will still get his chance at a show, IMO. Herb will be the guy left out, he never had a marketable idea for a show to begin with.

It's hilarious that they pretend to care about the show's marketability when the last 2 season's winners shows come on at Sunday morning/afternoon when no ones watching TV. It's especially odd since Adam Gertler who lost 2 season's ago has had 2 primetime shows.

Well, Food Network finally has their Indian cooking star they've been trying to push through this program for the last two years.
You could tell they were pulling for Aarti pretty hard from the start.
I think Aarti is the least television-ready of the final three, but she has the most marketable show of that group. Food Network doesn't have an Indian cuisine show, so she had an advantage.

I was cheering for her strictly because the other two got on my nerves.

I think Tom should have won, because I don't really care for Indian food.
However, if she can slim down and accentuate her cleavage in HD, I'll be inclined to take a look at her show.

HD would be a nightmare for her acne. Tom > Aarti Farti.

I can see Tom doing a travel show type of thing. Maybe the best bar food across America or something like that, or their version of Man vs Food.

They already got Guy and Adam Gertler to do the "travel to country for extreme food" shows.
