Any more talk on improving the facility? I know LSU is having financial difficulties, but I'm curious if they are trying to improve all the run down areas and create more parking? Is the old Alex box going to be a parking lot or garage parking?

LSU may be having difficulties, but I can tell you that TAF is definitely not having problems.

This is from that link to TAF. Are they considering finally doing something with the inside/dorms sometime in the future?

seems steep to most but when u actually think about what is gonna go into having those changed its not.......... you figure the amount for scaffolding and setup and then possibility of lead paint or asbestos and the height of the windows probably not as steep as it sounds

Jesus. Do I get to snort coke off this window at the 50 yard line with a Golden Girl before it's installed?

You should build a time machine and go work for Enron.

y becausei actually think maybe since those windows probably arent only 1/2 inch think like the ones in your home and probably gonna cost more to install ......... im sure they are more like 1 to 3 inches think and hell of alot of weight and not reachable with a 10 foot wooden ladder so im sure 500 bucks wont cover it........ i work for a company that rents and installs scaffolding to work similar to this and trust me its not cheap to rent and even more to get it set up

Speaking of improvements, has anyone heard when the new HD Scoreboard is going up in the south endzone?

Wouldn't they just use man lifts?

it all depends on the company that is doing the work im sure and the size of and weight of the windows cause there are weight limits on them and also a little more to manuever them around than just being able to walk around on a scaffold

You're wrong. 2,000 per window, is too high, for most of those window's. I hope they itemize where your money is going in the receipt.

They also said extra money would be set aside in a fund for other Tiger Stadium improvements, so actually they are saying they know the windows will be between $2k and $4k.

I'm not seeing how the cost is LSU's fault. LSU puts it out for bid and contractors set the price. Unfortunately for LSU, the cheap TD.com contractors who are experts in window replacement apparently aren't bidding LSU jobs.
