Brees vs Brady

saw on sportscenter that 65% of the country and 45 of the states voted they would rather have Brees as their QB. Who would yall pick? would have started on saints board but trying to go for an unbiased opinion

The poll did read "RIGHT NOW"..so I'd go with Drew Brees without a second thought.

Brees and it's not even close.
Even if you consider them equal in ability, I'd much rather a class guy like Brees than a playboy douchebag cover model.

Brady is a great QB and very clutch, but he has been put in an incredible situation in New England. Take him away (Cassell) and they're still good. Take Manning and Brees away and the Colts and Saints are mediocre at best.

When you have a crippled knee, fractured ribs, and a broken finger and still throw for 4000+ yards with a 96 QB rating, thats pretty insane.

Not true. All qbs are in "systems" and do you really think an average QB couldn't succeed with the fantastic WR's, TE's, and Offensive Line that the Saints have put together? Good lord people. Brady, until he was out, was actually the most hit quarterback in the league.

I just thoroughly enjoy posts like that. You can't argue statistics (very similar for the past couple of years, and career wise Brady > Brees) so you just call him a douchebag and thats enough :lol:

I really don't. I think without Brees the Saints are a .500 team. He makes all those players look so great. He hits 10 different receivers a game sometimes.

dude, you're retarded. Brees doesn't get sacked because of Brees. Look at the 2006 team with a shite line, a rookie Colsten and nothing else at WR, no TEs worth a shite, etc and see what he did.

If a gun is put to my head and I had to pick one for right now, I'd go with Brees, but that's only because he's a Saint.
Manning has shown year after year why he's deserving of being called the best ever.
Manning > Brady IMO FWIW
