Does Jasper kick a 53+ yard Field Goal?

He'll get a lot of chances. Several versus NC as the Tigers will score frequently.

So they think Les is going to be an a-hole on national tv and try an incredibly long field goal while up by a bunch? I don't see it.

He might be a shoddy x's and o's guy, but he doesn't do crap like that.

Why would that be an a-hole? What's wrong with going for a low percentage field goal? It's not like he's taking a fake knee and throwing a bomb up by 28.

Of course he will. We'll have first and ten at the 25. We'll run up the middle on first down, JJ will overthrow a wide open receiver in the End Zone on 2nd, then he'll tack a sack on 3rd, so as not to throw the ball away, and it will be 4th and 21 from the 36. Jasper makes the goal and in the paper the next day the headline will read, JJ leads the team to a late field goal right before the half.

Supposedly in practice the team was working on a drill to return fgs, the coach spotted a 57 yarder, and Jasper told him "you better back it up". So they spotted a 60 yarder and he made it. All the coach said was "god dammit son, you ruined my drill!", while everyone just kinda stood there shocked.
Just a story I heard from people at practice.
