Why does ESPN over-exaggerate everything?

Between Favre retiring, Tiger slumping, lebron being a traitor, and just about every other rumor started nowadays. Do people really care about some of that bullskeet? Why the fudge has everyone on that channel started acting like skip bayless. They follow bullskeet rumors and hype up unimportant shennanigans to be like the equvalent to a fudging david blane magic show. What ever happened to the days when chris berman and john madden were blowing coke on the sportscenter desk and dan patrick was passionatly making love to every female athlete that wanted to be in the top ten. F**king amateurs man.

It's to a point where the only reason I watch then is when I'm watching an actual game, I don't watch their other programming.

Well they're owned by the same company that owns Disney
It's entertainment. It's not sports journalism.

Why does ESPN over-exaggerate everything?
Rachel Nichols doesn't need to be over-exaggerated though, she's just fine as she is.

Because Colin Cowherd touches boys at night.

Do people like you talk about it and bring attention to the network and in turn makes them more money.

I want ESPN to go in depth on this confrontation between Cory Pavin and Jim Gray. Supposedly they got into it over pavins alleged remarks about Tiger being on the Ryder Cup team. Supposedly Gray kept calling him a liar and said he was going to take him down.
