If you know ANYTHING about QB mechanics and you look at picture 5(JJ throwing) from this link, you are undoubtedly concerned.

First off, this is old news, so I will spare you the Germans stuff.
Second off, there are plenty of QBs in the NFL that have made a good living off an awkward throwing motion. We just got one of their brothers

I'm not saying he can't be successful with it. It just looks really, REALLY bad.

Sorry, but that's one of the most godawful photos of a QB throwing ever to grace a starting lineup.
Sadly, that is EXACTLY the motion I got to see in person for the PSU game. It was hideous. Watching it on TV was bad, but when I got to see it in person, it made me wretch.
They've either done NOTHING to fix this kid or, he just can't get it.

I swear to God that if I didn't know it was JJ, I'd think it was a pic from the original Longest Yard Movie where the QB intentionally threw it into an oncoming DL's nuts.

The guy is the starting quarterback for LSU...not exactly a scrub football school. He must be doing something right. He could be better, though.

Yeah. Ya got me. I've NEVER seen him throw before.
If you could read, you'd note that I said this is EXACTLY the motion I already witnessed which makes seeing it in a VERY RECENT pic pretty sad.

Here's a photo at almost the exact same point in the throwing motion. Put it next to JJ's.
There are literally too many problems to count.
Yeah, I know it's Favre but really, most QBs, even no talent hacks, try to use solid mechanics.

Before you criticize, it helps to know a little bout what you're talking about before hand. As awkward as it looks, thats pretty much what your arm should be doing on slants and short crossing routes.
