He was really one of the worst Japanese pickups ever outside of Hideki Irabu (fat toad) and Kei Igawa who was the worst ever

Hendry really mucked things up signing alot of aging guys to huge long term contracts.
Now that the aging stars are past their prime the Cubs can't unload any of them or get a decent trade for any of them.
And Fuke is the worst. Starts every season well then free falls. He's nothing more than a highly paid pinch hitter and late inning defensive replacement now.
