Why does money matter since he's not enrolling at all? They aren't asked to foot the bill. They're asked to not go to school.

How the hell do you know other schools don't do that, they sure as hell greyshirt and they sure has hell have to make some decisions that someone isn't going to be happy with.

No they enroll in school and pay their own way for a semester. Can't participate in football activities and then join the program the next semester.

Maybe you should read the article before you start talking out of your arse. Fordham decided to join the team as a walk-on so he could be on the team this fall. I'm sure anyone asked to grey-shirt could have done the same if they could afford to pay.
