Baton Rouge CULT Capitals head to Portland Oregon this week as one of the “final four” teams vying for the coveted title of National Champions – and are going all-out to bring the trophy back to Baton Rouge.
“We have to win two games, it’s as simple as that,” said coach Stuart Hayers, who has already guided his newly-assembled team to the Southern Conference title in his rookie year as a coach. “We are in top four in the country now and we are in the finals to win, make no mistake.”

Both semi-finals and the consolation match will be streamed live at www.usllive.com; while the final will be televised live nationwide on Fox Soccer Channel. Full details of kick-off times and venue are available at https://pdl.uslsoccer.com/home/452284.html
You can also follow Capitals on Twitter, with live game updates, at https://www.twitter.com/batonrougecaps

Timber's season ticket holders get free tickets to these games friday and sat so I'm going to try and check out the BR team before the Timbers U-23 play. Hopefully it's sunny...it's cloudy and misting right now at noon and about 60 degrees!!

Great to hear from you PDX! Give the lads a big shout from me - we'll be watching the streaming on the computer. If you have an LSU flag take that along and make yourself known...
And do keep in touch.
