Does anyone else see the similarities between Jordan Jefferson and Jason Campbell. I think that bodes well for LSU next season.

LSU planning on bringing in Borges?

I tend to think of Kerry Collins.

Give the guy a second year under center, with hopefully an improved O-line before we start bashing him. I have never wanted a player to suceed more than JJ in this coming year just so the little whinning bitches who call themselves LSU fans can eat crow. His stats were not bad last year with a horrific O-line.

I'll take it if it means a 14-0 year for LSU

It's a two way street Tigersby10. RP or Flynn score 7-10 more points per game with that same O-line. JJ needs to step up along with the linemen. If they do make strides together the offennse has a chance to be very productive this year given the plethora of talented skill guys.

RP maybe but no way Flynn would have been sucessful with last years oline.

Damn dude, 4 posts in 5 years and this is what you roll out? I like it.

Jason Campbell was alot stronger than JJ in college and had a better arm. JJ has better mobility.
and on RP, I think if he wouldn't have screwed up at LSU. He could have been the number 1 QB picked in last years draft (last years QB class was weak)

Um, no. Not even close.
And I'm not real sure I'd have had a lot of confidence stepping into the pocket under the protection of those knuckleheads.
And you only run the option as well as your knucklehead coaches teach you to.

campbell had a better sense of what was going on around him. a better qb in college from what jj has shown so far
Ummm, this is Campbell's stat line from the undefeated season. Looks a lot like JJ's stats as a fricking Sophomore.

I remember sitting in the stands at Auburn, up by a few points, and thinking we've got Jarmacus Russell, and they've got Jason Campbell. There's no way we lose this game.
We lost it, and Jason Campbell did what he had to do to win it. The year before, his reputation was no better than JJs is after last year, probably worse.
JJ could easily have a breakout year... if the OL gives him a second or two to breathe out there.

Campbell really didn't have to do much that season. The defense, running back rotations & refs helped Auburn to an undefeated season in 2004.

34 sacks compared to 13 equals better sense
