I would say so. You know everyone wants to talk about the injury bug and how lucky a team needs to be to avoid the injury bug through the season which is all partly true.

But in reality, Aside from our elite qb which is uncommon from most other team's with an elite qb... this team has the ability to overcome and play through injuries at every position on this roster. We did that last year and I think we have improved in numerous areas depth wise to be able to do a better job of that if needed as well as depth will allow this team to stay fresher as the season goes on. You see how last year, the playoff week of rest was much needed as our tank was getting low towards the end.

DT: Ellis, Remi, Wilkerson,Woods, Pressley (Hargrove tweener) Woods and Wilkerson are two certifiably legit quality rotational guys

LB: We are stacked depth wise. We have an arguably quality question at one OLB spot if someone doesn't "step up" but the depth on the team is not an issue.

+1

If the NFL goes to an 18 game schedule, the Saints will have a built-in advantage based on the way the team is structured as a, well, team. Outside of Drew, we're not as personnel-dependent as some other teams. Being able to rotate guys in and out throughout a season and still win games comes in handy down the stretch.

Did you ever, in your wildest dreams, think you could say this and not have a smile on your face???
It's absolutely unbelievable the turn around this franchise has had...just unbelievable.

I was just thinking, what happens if we have no serious injuries this year? We had a boatload last year and still went 16-3 and won the SB.

Yeah especially in the secondary last year, but our main guy hardly got sacked. Need to keep that up. I get so nervous watching the Saints play.
