Collins with a 3.9 at LSU and Turner with a 4.03 in the Nike Sparq challenge at the 7 on 7. That is INSANELY fast. What did he run at the 7 on 7 because Turner had the fastest time there.

Collins shut down a pretty promising Auburn WR committment (Denyson maybe?) Hopefully a good sign of things to come from home.

Welcome aboard Jalen.

Love the quote at the end of the TSD article about the strength of his committment. He gets it.

FWIW ESPN has him listed at 6'1. With those times there's 6'1 is about right, even though he does have the arm length of a 6'3 body.

Now that sounds more likely. I thought that those times were wrong or that he was shorter. Still that fast/quick, and those arms are freaking long.

He's probably around 6'2. Which is really tall for a corner.

Looks like a tremendous athlete.

6'2 is what im hearing also..the poster who saw him in person in hoover said he was every bit of 6'3 though..same with martin's height, many say 6'1 but ive stood on side of him numerous times and i'd give him about 6'2 and a quarter

The extra arm length let him shave off about .3 seconds off his time since he didn't have to run as far to touch the cones.

Anyone know what he ran in the 40?

I'm hoping we pick Jenkins/Raven up and be done with this class. LSU is definitely taking a lot of big DBs as hybrids. They will decide where to put them later, IMO.

You got that right Lynx. Not taking anything away from Collins, glad to have him, but Jenkins is the one I have been waiting on for a while now.

Haha...really? Jalen Collins? Here's how good he is. He camped at MSU and failed to get an offer. Nice going!
