With 4 voters and the Saints getting three number one votes, they still end up behind the colts. Why? Because for some reason John Clayton has us pre-season ranked at 7! lulsz

SIAP, didn't see it, but 7th? That's hilarious.

that fool really hates the saints. i don't know what it is about him but dropping us 4 spots from the post draft rankings til now? why? i believe he took several weeks to finally put the saints number 1 last year after everyone else had put the saints number 1. then for the other 3 guys to put saints 1 and he says 7? what an assclown

everybody except you probably.

I'm tlalking about how espn actually ranked us #1 for a week, not the actual play of the team. the saints got zero love before katrina.

2-0 against the eventual super bowl champs and they shite the bed to not make the playoffs.

Losses to the Lions and that ugly game against the Browns bring back some frustrating memories.

We were better than the Chargers that year and everyone knew that and we were the only two 1 loss teams in the league at that time.

Many people called that a curse because they couldn't remember the last time we were first

all part of being, i believe, 6-1 against teams who would win their division. so great against top teams, atrocious against terrible teams.

believe that was also the year daunte culpepper fumbled it 4 times before scoring the 2 pt. conversion.

John Clayton Musta got robbed by a Bourbon Street hooker in the past. That crybaby punk-arse never gives N.O. its due. F 'em.

Plus, note the lack of sport PLAYING experience:

I'll grant that as much time as he has spent analyzing sports has made him more expert than I for sure. However, he's a numbers/logic guy. There are so many intangibles that I don't think someone who hasn't played any sports is at a marked disadvantage over analysts who have (not always true, i.e Teddy Bruschi). Ex-players, especially ex-NFLers understand the game on a level he never can.
