Mel's viking movie and continued career

So do you think Mel will ever be able to come back from all of this negative press? He was planning on making the viking epic with Leo. I'd hate for that to never see the light of day because of all this.

I'd watch him do both. I dislike few people on this earth more than Sean Penn but I still watch his movies if I feel they will be good.

Not a chance. Although he hasn't really acted a whole lot lately anyway. But he'll still be in movies. And I still say that once all this settles, and he goes on Oprah and gains the middle-aged women demographic back by crying, admitting his errors, and then explaining his battles with alcoholism, he'll be able to act in whatever he wants.

Exactly. And I translate it into the same thing with his acting (just to lesser degree)...people know Mel is a great actor, and will see his movies still. There will just be an awful lot of voiced-over mock videos on youtube.

If they think they can drain any more money out of him they will.
His jewish rant didn't end his career so I doubt this ends his career.
I did finally listen to some of his rant and that dude has some serious rage. I wouldn't be shocked to see him go OJ at some point. He didn't just sound pissed. He sounded unhinged.
But Hollywood doesn't care. They want mo money.
