holy shite, talk about a spin job..

Come on now. You know that Perriloux was the starter in 2008 and that he was proven. He started and won the freaking SECCG, cmon. The situations are entirely different.

The post I responded to characterized Garrett as a 3rd or 4th string QB, which is what he was when he was on the team (just as Perrilloux was a backup when he was on the team), but for 2012, he was projected to be, at worst, 2nd string behind Z. Lee (just as Perrilloux was projected to start in 2008). Garrett's not a big loss for this year, but we are now depending on Z. Lee to A) not play MLB and B) be the first QB recruited by Miles to be a reliable starter, or we go into 2012 with a walk-on (Bailey) or a RS freshman at best (a recruit we sign this February). The hope was that Garrett would be the first QB that Miles and Crowton didn't frick up on, and that he would be ready to contribute in 2012. That hope was dashed when he got cut and it became clear that the QB frickup train is still running full steam ahead. They are completely useless at evaluating/recruiting/developing QBs. Completely useless. 0-for-5 and counting so far.

How can you say they are 0-5. If you will check the archives,it was guys like you who proclaimed JJ all world after completing passes rolling to his right against an overrated GT team. Anyone that knew football, realized he had not demonstrated that he could stand in the pocket and throw. Lee was crucified on this board for the pick sixes he threw when there is no way to know if an interception will be returned for a td. Several balls bounced off receivers into dbs hands. There was not much effort to tackle the dbs once they caught the ball either. JJ and JL have each started one yr with two yrs of eligibility left so I can't say they are busts.
RP and JL were highly recruited so I gues those coaches couldn't evaluate talent either.
Of course,it takes a big man to bash players and coaches from behind the safety and anonyominity of the internet. Does it make you feel better about your life?

Even after Supah explained the situation about the Garrett situation, point blank, you STILL find something to bitch about. You couldn't just read it and move on knowing what happened. NEVER have I EVER seen anything positive from you. You must be a JOY to be around. You're like the old man who's yard young kids won't set foot in because you'll get your broom out and yell at them.

FWIW, Saban is a terrible judgement of talent because he recruited and signed Star Jackson. Yeah, the Star Jackson that was terrible and has since moved on to Georgia St.

It's people like you that thrive on negativity. Why don't you just go the frick away? God. I know you're not going to because you have to be here to lead the constant protesters.
