It's alright, probably worth a watch. You're not really going to learn anything about Son of Sam though. The movie is more about how it impacted the lives of the main characters.

The movie is nothing about him. It's about characters in New York City in the summer of 1977. I thought it was decent.

favorite part of the movie.

Damn, Adrian Brody is in this? I'm very skeptical about the movie now...

I recall Bebe Neuwirth exposing all in it.

Time piece.

I found it rather unenjoyable and the characters were disgusting human beings. Keep in mind, it's a Spike Lee Joint.

Really liked it. One of Spike Lee's best. Brody, Leguizamo, Rispoli, Neuworth, Esposito, etc..solid cast. Loved The Who's music and Yankee Stadium with Reggie scene, the talking dog scene with Sam, the times changing from disco and old rock into punk/new wave, etc..encapsulates 1978 NYC.

Remember that time period well, the fear that summer in NYC, the NBC Today Show coverage of it.

Lee, a New Yorker, nails it.

This thread probably would've been more useful before you put it on your queue.
