i didn't really explain it well. after looking at their website, im not really finding much of a connection and yet they use the arsenal logo, wear their jerseys, and use the name, so there almost has to be some form of a connection.

Haha Arsenal FC in california has no relation to the actual Arsenal in the premier league. Teams in the US do that with some youth teams just because they either respect the club or think its cool to be named that.
Look at a bunch of baseball youth teams. A lot are called the Red Sox and A's but none have an actual afilliation with the MLB team.
