Best "power" hitter you've ever seen...

at LSU. i was around during the larson days, but i was really young and really wasnt into it as i am now. the best power hitter i've ever seen at LSU was Matt Clark. Now when i say power i mean hits a lot of home runs frequently. Not like Quinn Stewart who just hit a bomb every now and then. Matt Clark led the nation in HR's his last year here and i can't remember one that wasn't a no-doubter.

Wes Davis had unreal power when he connected

Larson, but Eddie was also legit.

I'd have to vote for Larson. Of course the bats were different, but he just absolutely crushed pitches all year long, including one monstrous bomb in the CWS. My favorite LSU player to watch. It's a shame he could never get past the injuries later on.

I enjoyed watching Lyle Mouton take batting practice.

In my opinion the best ever, depending on how you define "best power hitter."
Joey Belle & Lyle Mouton also had incredible power, and Furniss kept churning out numbers for a whole college career.
Larson probably doesn't deserve to be mentioned in their company.

Ryan Patterson hit some of the loudest balls I've ever heard

Blake Dean has to make the list also. Not top 3, but defnintely top 5, IMO

I wonder how many more HRs Dean would of had if he had the 90s bats.
