Its a baseball game that uses stats but without video. You get to "coach" the players but not actually play with them.
You can tell pitchers to pitch around batters...play in at the corners on defense, wave runners around 3rd to home. Suicide or safety squeeze...players all have defensive ratings for their position and arm strength.
VERY realistic when it comes to stats and outcomes. Takes into account what park you are in and the likely hood of what kind of weather it would be.
All in all its a very fun game and league to be in.
